Thank you Sir

December 09:15 PM.   Lalbagh express arrives atBangalore cantonment station. It is tired and wants to rest. As we exit the station few auto rickshaw & taxi drivers intercept and enquire about our destination.  I ignore them and walk towards the prepaid counter and join the queue. The queue moves very slowly and the autos joining the queue dry up. One traffic policemen is overseeing the queue. As minutes trickle by, autos refuse to come to the prepaid bay. Policeman makes his best effort to ensure that autos come to the bay.  Auto drivers are more interested in ferrying the passengers whose destination is near to their sheds. I get the ticket but no auto is in sight. Finally my turn comes and I hand over the pre paid ticket to the driver. No luck. He says that he does know the route to uttarahalli and refuses to ply. The traffic policeman walks towards a group of drivers who had not come into the bay. He conveys the destination to them. One of them accepts to drop us. The driver then dropped us safely in uttarahalli and accepted the stipulated night fare and wholeheartedly said Thank you.

Thank you Sir
